That was the theme of the Venice Art Biennale in 2019. For this event, we (Michael Pröpper & Rolf Berte) presented the interactive installation Infinity Messenger on the third floor of the Palazzo Mora.
Sending a message with laser light!?
Who sees it? Whom does it reach?
What does it do?
The message. It is an idea. Spontaneous, deliberate, passionate or angry. It is a thought, a wish, hope or despair.
The message is, it exists. Minute, manifested in a string.
Sent as bundled light. Photons.
